Does it look like I'm trolling for dates here? Um - not so much. But, I do have to love this line from today's Tribune article on Silver Speed Dating (our own local version of speed dating for 'honored citizens'): Seventysomething Don has been monitoring his peers throughout the evening from a well-positioned bar stool. Asked why he didnít give speed dating a whirl, Don takes a contemplative drag on his cigarette. ìI prefer a long, smoldering kind of thing ó donít you?î I think Don and I are on the same page... Ack! Does it look like I’m trolling for dates here? Um – not so much.
