How Bad is OregonLive?

A very lively conversation over at BlueOregon on the general shoddiness and crappiness of OregonLive.com. I recommend checking it out and reading through the comments.

BlueOregon Hates on OregonLive.

Nice to see the Portland blogosphere agrees on this, maybe it will help motivate them. I wonder if other places that have an adnavce.net site for their major paper also hate it?

That last question is good one. There must be complaints findable via a good Google or two somewhere.

It’s also not new for the local blogosphere to carp about this. I’m sure there have been threads on Communique, and I just found one on Jack Bog’s Blog also that I had forgotten about.

None of ithas done much good, but maybe we can start reachign some sort of critical mass.

But, as I keep pointing out, the corporate walls between the newspaper and online components of the Advance empire make movement fairly unlikely. I still think we should focus more attention on the suffering Portland Tribune.

But does the Tribune have any money to put on their website? Haven’t they been losing money since they started?
