Portland Metroblogs Meetup

Metroblogging has teamed up with Meetup.com to help set up monthly events in the cities that have a metblog. It’s not an official meeting or anything, just a casual way to meet face to face and talk to Portland area bloggers. Stop by for coffee or beer!

So, Feb 10th at 7:30pm @ the downtown Stumptown. You can even RSVP at meetup.com

Or, ya know, you guys could stop by the long established Portland Blogger meeting that is every first Friday, 6pm, at Backspace.

We’ve been meeting for years, and we’d love to see you.

Join the Yahoo group for reminders:

I thought this happened, but I never found any info on it! In the future we can just lump everyone together in one place!

    And furthermore, meetup.com??

A terrible, frustrating interface, and once you sign up they bomb you with email until you delete your account, as I did several months ago. No way I’m signing up again, so no RSVP–but I may stop by if I’m in the area.

Ha–good morning! You posted while I was posting.

Yeah, I think it would be cool if all of us tried to make both meetings this month, just to integrate things.

By the way, if you type “portland bloggers” into google, our group is the first thing that comes up. :) We do have a crappy website though.

Of course it would be that easy to find. :)

As for Meetup, I also deleted my account long ago, but I’ve heard they really fixed things up and are nice now, so i thought I’d give ’em another chance. (i’ll let you know)
