This morning’s Oregonian contained the following two front page headlines:

• Oregon soldier killed in Iraq
• Military is seeing hope amid turmoil of Iraq

Did anyone else besides me grimace at the unfortunate juxtaposition?
Did anyone else besides me wonder why the second story - a New York Times wire service story - didn’t get bumped to the inside in light of the first headline?
