We’re doing Meetup? Not hardly…
Were you signed up for our PDX Metblogs Meetup? Well, we’re disbanding it, due to some administrative changes happening over at Meetup (rumors are that they’re wanting us to pony up cold hard cash for their services and, well - we’re just not going to do that…)
We’re still meeting - we’ve been coordinating with the Portland Bloggers group, who have a Yahoo! Reminder and mailing list set up already - see this for more information. Meetings are generally the first Friday of the month, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Backspace on NW Fifth.
And, who knows? There could be other informal gatherings happening as the weather gets nicer. b!X is trying to jumpstart a blogger/traditional media softball war of sorts… there’s always Thirsty Thursday…and I’m always up for lunch downtown during the week, for starters.
