METH DEALER SHOT

Now, it’s taken me a while to post this. Why? Because the administrator of my school has decided that we shouldn’t talk to the press about this. Well, I’m going to write a first-hand account of what it’s like to have a meth dealer shot on campus.

Yes, I go to Catlin Gabel. Maybe you saw, on the news, that we had a person shot on campus. The short story is, he was recognized by a cop as a man wanted for various crimes. Of course, as soon as this dude realized that he was being copped, he booked it the hell out of there. And eventually turned into the driveway of Catlin Gabel. Our driveway, being pretty damn circular, he got all mixed up and crashed his jeep-thing into one of our busses (joy).

Cops were taking crime scene evidence from 10pm until something like noon the next day.

I actually am not that bothered by this. Some of my classmates, however, are. The cops did their job, and apprehended a dangerous criminal. So what if it was on premises? Had he been more reckless, and gone over grass (and our campus is spacious enough that he could have driven through it) I’d be more worried.

And on second thought, maybe I should.
