The Best-Of/Worst-Of Guy

The Portland Metroblog has many great uses. Talking about goings-on around town, good local authors, etc.

My posts so far have been a bit aimless. I’ve decided I want a niche.

I want to be the P-Met’s Best-of/Worst-of Guy.

So, except for an occasional rant on weather or the local sports scene, count on my posts to regularly give a perspective on the bests and worsts of Portland.

Or, if I don’t have a perspective, count on me to ask you for one.

Today: Where’s the best vet in town?

I got a dog about 2 months ago, and have spent plenty of time running her through the ringer at her vets office. So, I’m becoming intimately acquainted with the Banfield Pet Hospital. So far, I have no real complaints. But that may be just because I don’t know what I’m missing.

So, tell me about Portland’s best and worst vets. Leave a comment. Please be serious. Eventually, when someone Google’s “Portland’s best vet,” they may see your handiwork.

No, really, please comment. Blogs work best that way…

North Portland Veterinary Hospital on North Lombard is awesome. We’ve experienced the most humane, personal, wonderful, amazing help here. All of the staff is great to work with: from the front office, to the vet techs, to the vets themselves. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Thanks for the input, Lelo. Hopefully others will join in to make this idea work. Any other suggestions?
