Prom

Every now and again, once a year approximately, prom season hits. This means that every single hotel downtown is booked to the gills as the rich parents of seniors (from the more-money-than-brains club) rent them hotel rooms for the night.
This ultimately culminates in a night of hooliganry and shenanigans from the involved people.

Luckily, my friends and I have a far different agenda. We don’t do that whole get drunk and puke off of a hotel balcony thing. No, we go to Voodoo Doughnuts and Backspace, the Avalon Arcade, and really, any place that’s open after 12. So, Shari’s is fun. So is the Olive Garden, but there you have to keep eating the freaking breadsticks so that they don’t kick you out.

We’re not loiterers! I swear!

I haven’t yet found a good place- there is always the Dennys or Olive Garden, but no coffee shop style places open past 10:30.

It seems like there is no night life here, even down the 101, there are a few bars open, yet they’re quiet: no neon signs, just a simple, joe’s bar in grey.

1st time reader. i think Preshrunk linked you and i was interested in your process of making the t-shirts but haven’t found it yet.

    nice site
