Lunch at Portland’s Farmer’s Market

I am enjoying a chicken tamale from Salvador Mali’s stand here at the market up in the south park blocks. One thing portland really knows how to do well is the farmer’s markets. I think there is one in every area now, if not more. NOPO has one at Overlook Park on wednesday evenings. I just love seeing all the fresh veggies and flowers and everyone is smiling. A great respite from the workday.

Back to the tamale.

Sent from my phone, probably whilst out walking…

Do you know if there’s a guide for the Farmer’s Markets in town? I’d love to find one nearer me if possible…

The Redirect Guide has a list of the area farmers markets. OFMA(Oregon Farmers Market Association) also publishes a pamphlet listing all the farmers markets. The pamphlet is available at the library and at all the Visitor Centers. Check the booth at Pioneer Place Mall.
