Plan Ahead - Mississippi Street Fair - August 13
last year in cloudy May, when we attended the mississippi street fair on N. Mississippi, it was a quiet affair as many of the businesses on the street were so new or not yet open, there wasn’t much to attract the patrons. this year, with the date change and the significant change on the street, the event should be crazy busy. currently, N. Mississippi offers the following:
12 restaurants
5 bars (also included in restaurant count)
4 coffeshops
1 brewery
3 music recording studios
3 venues that offer live music regularly
3 clothing retailers
1 comic book store (my favorite)
come check out N. Mississippi, you will not be disappointed.
Mississippi Street fair - August 13 all day along N. Mississippi betw. N. Fremont and N. Alberta.

My sister, Raina Rose, will be releasing her cd, Despite the Crushing Weight of Gravity, at Mississippi Studios next Saturday, in conjuction with this street fair. My dad will be staffing a grill by the studio, and a good time will be had by all.
