Come Howl with me
Yo BRMC fans! I’m still coming down after my whirlwind groupie-esque tour from Portland to Vancouver, BC with Brian Jonestown Massacre (you know you can listen to virtually all their music for free from their web site?). I think I’m still buzzing from the night we spent hanging with the band (I met my hero! Anton Newcombe! What a babe. And by babe I mean talented musician…
Anyway, tomorrow night, Doug Fir, 9pm, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Peter Hayes, former member of my most favoristist of favorite bands, Brian Jonestown Massacre, created this awesome trio and they are rocking like never before. I’m sure they’ll be playing some of their gospel tinged acoustic stuff from “Howl” and you’re missing out if you’ve never heard them!
Meanwhile, I’m going to relive the last 72 hours of my life traipsing up and down the I-5 corridor behind (and sometimes ahead) of Brian Jonestown Massacre; tired, uncomfortable, slightly hung over and blissfully happy. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,
Can you tell me what happened at the show and everything? I have been dying to see them and will when they come around to Baltimore this tour. But…any good juice? i hear anton can get insane. my favorite is frankie - did you get to hang out with him at all?
the shows were great. yes, anton can go off and spout some crazy rabble, but when it comes to the music, he is focused and spot on. the whole band was in fine form at all three shows. yes, got to hang with all the band. frankie was a little stand-offish, but the others were kind and well, just normal guys in a band. there were no premadonas there. well, except one. i’ll let you guess that.
