Pioneer Courthouse finally finished?
Hey, the gates are gone on the 6th ave side of the Pioneer Courthouse. It seemed like the construction had been going on for years. Didn’t it start last century?
Well, today, they were moving in. As i understand it, this will be the new offices for senior judges, not necessarily court. I may be wrong.
Needless to say, it will be good to have the construction gone in the center of downtown. At least for a few months. Bring it on transit mall MAX!

Appears to be finished but still pissed that they close the Pioneer Courthouse Square Post Office just to make room for judge’s parking.
Now, if you need postal services, ya gotta hike to 5th and Alder, or down to 6th just north of PSU.
When you are downtown and pressed for time, that’s a PITA, and I don’t mean the bread.
There’s a Post Office in the old courthouse at Broadway and Main.
