one would never think something as cute as a teddy bear would be associated with hockey. well, tonight was the annual teddy bear toss at the Portland Winterhawk’s game. 8 minutes in, the first goal was scored, igniting the crowd to toss - toss every bear they had brought. bears were flying through the crowd to the icerink. 10,742 bears were thrown onto the ice- all to go to a local children’s hospital. way to go Portland!
