the Linfield Wildcats Football Team are done for the season and i’m sad. so sad, i am not sure how to deal with it. such a great team, #1 for the entire year and last year’s national champs. well, they met their match this past saturday in University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. the wisconsin warhawks challenged Linfield on thier home turf and won. it was an excellent game, very challenging both offensively and defensively. both teams were on their game and the ending score showed it. in the end, it came down to the last posession. wisconsin was behind 41-37 with 3 minutes left. Linfield held them back until the final minute when Wisconsin scored. now 44-41, Linfield needed a score, but only had 43 seconds left. they couldn’t do it and the dream season came to an end.
hopefully this won’t be the last time we see Brett Elliot, Linfield’s star quarterback. Good luck next year Wildcats!
