came accross an interesting article on CNN yesterday about housing prices. as everyone knows, housing prices in Portland have risen exponentiallyin the past 10 years and some believe it is pricing many out of the market. it’s a big story everywhere. well, the article i read actually thinks portland is a destinaiton for those people fleeing high house price in other markets. Portland, along with Atlanta, Phoenix, Jacksonville and Dallas are cities highlighted as still being affordable. granted, if moving here from LA or DC or Hawaii, it is indeed more affordable.
