Seemed like a Fat Tuesday to me. Good music playing at the Doug Fir. But I only felt it in passing. Then I saw the thick necklaces dressing a patron in glimmering purple, green and growing lights.

Of course, Fat Tuesday. The waiter said it will probably be hopping by 2:30 after the bars close.

Time to get home! Luckily, I’m only living a few blocks away. But that’s a story for another day.
