That Time of the Month

Well, it’s that time of the month again, time for another Live Wire show. Live Wire runs the gamut of arts and culture this evening.

Love music? You’ll enjoy songs from M. Ward, who has been described as “other-worldly”. There will also an appearance or two for The Dahoo Chorus, Portland’s own slightly insane 20-person tribute to choral kaos.

If Literature is your thing get set for a chat with Michael Powell, owner of Powell’s (Duh) and Whitney Otto, author of How to Make an American Quilt and Now You See Her, will read a personal essay.

What about the theater you ask? It just so happens there will be a little pre-world premiere excerpt from Sojourn Theater’s upcoming show, “The War Project: 9 Acts of Determination”.

All that arts and culture got you hungry? The owners of Saint Cupcake will be there with some treats for the audience. (Yummy!)

And of course as always; comedy from the Faces For Radio Theater as well as music from the house band Ralph Huntley and the Mutton Chops.

It all happens tonight at the Aladdin Theater! Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm.
