Unless you are an entrpreneurial or corporate type (or a mixture of both), I am thinking maybe you aren’t all that familiar with Oregon Business magazine and its companion website.

Well, there are a lot of people who think highly of the site. It is a finalist for journalism trade mag. Editor & Publisher’s EPpy Awards in the “Best Regional Magazine-Affiliated Web Site” category.

Its competition is Littlerockfamily.com (Little Rock, AR)
and the vividly named SqueezeOC.com (Orange County, CA).

The awards will be announced May 19 at the Interactive Media Conference & Trade Show in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas- on the way to being a Metblog city, I suspect.

Wow, really? A whole lotta their “content” is just links to other news organizations. I’m all for aggregation, but they’re framing those stories under their banner (and ads). How very 1996 of them. Not to mention you can get your ass sued for that: http://news.com.com/2100-1023-200295.html?legacy=cnet&st.ne.ni.rel

Also kgw.com is a finalist. Go figure.
