I’ve voted - have you?

Even though I’ve known how I’ve been going to vote for ages, I never seem to manage to get the ballot finished and in the mail in time - instead I’m scrambling to drop it off at the last minute.

This year is no exception - and if you’re like me, you need to know that you CANNOT mail your ballots now and expect them to count.

Instead, you’ll have to drop them off - at the elections office itself, any one of the drop sites, or at any Multnomah County library. Need a list of places? Here you go.

Ballot returns (for Multnomah County, that is) should start to become available at this site starting at 8 pm on Tuesday.

In fact, some of us will be gathering on Election Night - and we might just be group blogging from an undisclosed location (offering up free WiFi and tasty adult beverages, of course.) Who knows - we might just decide to moblog from a victory party or three…!

And don’t forget - I’m still taking predictions about the percentage of the vote City Council Candidate Emilie Boyles will manage to capture - and you can come in and update your previous prediction if you’d like. In fact, I’m curious - anyone still willing to give her more than single digits here?

I never vote until election day. And I drop off my ballot at election HQ. Easier now than ever before, now that I live 4 blocks away.
