Eat out for Basic Rights today

Today and tonight, throughout Portland, restaurants will be donating 15% of their proceeds to Basic Rights Oregon. The annual Bites For Rights event takes place at approximately 50 restaurants throughout town. If making lunch plans, check out the list. If you need an afternoon bite, check out the list.     I know I’m probably talking to myself, but I got my bagel and a mocha this morning from Haven coffee on 35th and Division. Yum! And it tasted even better knowing I was doing some good. (:
