I ran across this story this morning and found it quite interesting. A woman named Barbara Harris brought her crew to town today (Project Prevention) in an effort to reduce the amount of drug babies being had. Basically she goes from city to city offering people options for long term birth control. She encourages people to do this by paying them a whopping 300 dollars!

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Barbara and her organization. I personally think it’s a good thing she is trying to do. I grew up with my Parent’s caring for foster children and seeing the effects drugs have on kids is really horrible. I just wish people were smart enough to take care of themselves without someone having to offer them money to do it for them.
