Live Wire Tonight

Comedy demi-gods Michael Showalter, Eugene Mirman and Leo Allen will be performing in town this evening. They can first be seen at tonight’s taping of Live Wire and again later in the evening at Dante’s, or if you’re really plucky you could see both shows. If you go to the Live Wire show you’ll also get the comedy of FFRT, plus Maria Dahvana Headley, author of The “Year of Yes”, Oregon Poet Laureate Lawson Inada, and Scott Poole, Live Wire’s House Poet. As if that weren’t enough you’ll also get music by Norfolk and Western, plus fiddle music pioneer Darol Anger with Tony Furtado, and as always the House band, Ralph Huntley and the Mutton Chops. It happens tonight at the Aladdin Theatre. Show starts at 7, doors open at 6, all for the low low price of $12 at the door or $10 in advance.

So much good stuff all in one place. Hooray for Live Wire! Portland’s favorite radio variety show.
