Bruce Campbell is filming in Oregon!
As if having Morgan Freeman and Greg Kinnear in town wasn’t enough, now comes news that the mighty Bruce will be filming a quasi-mocumentary/horror spoof here in Oregon. The town is currently unnamed and I’m guessing it won’t be Portland, but keep your eyes peeled for Campbell sightings.

Not long after my bemoaning of the lack of movies/shows shot in Oregon, it sounds like the Oregon Film and Video Office is doing its part in trying to lure some Hollywood productions the Oregon way. Besides the Freeman/Kinnear movie, the Oregonian also notes that Into the Wild is going to shoot in our lovely state sometime this year as well. (or according to imdb, already is… anybody been punched out by Sean Penn recently?)

Thanks to the Oregonian and cinematical for the scoopage.

Sean Penn has come and gone and is coming back. He was here a couple months back and there was a story in the Trib about his stay at 5th ave. suites. I understand they are filming at the coast mostly.

Mr. Campbell lives down by Medford, anyway.
