Kevin Love, the phenom basketball star out of Lake Oswego, is heading to UCLA to play for the Bruins. Apparently, he had been recruited since the eight grade by UCLA coach Ben Howland.

Eighth grade! Why didn’t the Beavers or the Ducks start recruiting while Love was a toddler? :-).

Congrats to Love. He is quite a player. Look forward to seeing him on the court when he makes the trip north from southern California.
