TK-

Not to call you a blog-slut, but I'm guessing you navigate as much as I do. I haven't hears anyone in awhile make any serious claim that the Blazers are going to move on Garnett. After this trade, Canzano's talked on-air about trying to move on Iverson. But I haven't heard any other serious commentator (which I pretend to be) actually suggesting a KG scenario.

And I haven't really had time to look. I've been throwing out comments today from the Crackberry, which is good for checking my gmail and seeing new comments, but which is not conducive to wide-spread blog ingestion.

Other than me (and now you), have you heard anyone calling a KG shot? I'd like to think I'm at least somewhat original in my musings...

This HAS been the best offseason in over a decade (except for the summer they got Pippen). I smell playoffs, and they're not even done yet.

I'm going to give everyone the Babe Ruth-called shot right here and now: Kevin Garnett is going to be a Trail Blazer. It's probably going to involve Miles, Aldridge, and Dixon.

They've 'gone big' this summer with bold trades and a what-do-we-have-to-lose attitude. It seems like they've decided to skip the rebuilding phase in favor of something more competitive and balanced. Why wouldn't they shoot for the moon at this point?

I am going to miss Steve Blake.

The fire and thunder he consistently brought forth each time he was on the court was inspiring during last season, the games were IMO worth watching with him on the floor...

best wishes for him in the future

as for the Blazers... I look forward to this season and hope they can stay in Portland following this year
