Follow the bouncing Bones & Brew

Last year, I lamented the fact that Bones & Brew kept skittering all around the calendar and/or the metro area (last year’s event was in the Pearl District in mid-September.)

They’re returning to the Pearl yet again this year (looks like a different location, though) - but this weekend’s festival date falls right on the heels of the Oregon Brewers Festival and a month full of beery activities.

I didn’t go last year - but ExtraMSG did, and left a scathing report (I linked to it in the post above.) And normally, that’d be enough to warn me off. Except: it looks as if Rogue’s taking this on (PDF). It’ll be located right in front of their pub in NW. The weather should be cooperative. And there’s a decent list of brewers there (much better than in recent years, where I seem to recall a Budweiser beer tent, grr…)

So maybe I’ll drag these bones over there and check those Bones out after all. Or at least drop by for a beer or two…
