Though only 15 minutes away, Sauvie Island is like a completely different world. Rolling hills, farms, cows, horses, and even fresh-made doughnuts. Even this late in the season, there’s a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies to be had, and we stocked up on some corn, peaches, tomatoes, and flowers while zipping around the island in a big circle. great way to spend a saturday morning, and not very crowded at this time of year. We’ll be back soon to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween.
