Vancouver: Not Just a Suburb, But a Freak News Source
Apparently it’s odd news from the Couve weekend. Our miles-long freeway closure is pretty tame, but we kicked off the weekend with a couple of guys getting into an argument over CB radio, then deciding to meet at Vancouver Mall, whereby one guy shot and killed the other. Continuing our escapades in the dark, apparently early this morning a screaming naked man led police to a pipe bomb… and to think, some folks think we’re boring up here…
Update at 16:55: The drama continues. Apparently around 11:30 this morning, a Vancouver police officer shot and killed a transient behind the Wal-Mart near Mill Plain / I-205 after the person pointed a handgun at the officer. The investigation has determined the transient’s gun was actually a realistic replica.
