Mannix’s Strip Club Measure is Axed

Last week I told you about a proposed ballot measure by Kevin Mannix and gang to increase regulation of strip clubs.

Tonight I see via the Mercury that the Secretary of State’s office has axed the proposed measure because it would involve multiple constitutional ammendments (Oregon law requires only one ammendment per ballot measure).

In summary, y’all can go back to putting dollars in naughty places without fear of being told you can’t, at least not anytime soon.
