Who’s up for playing hooky?

It looks like we have a glorious fall day ahead of us - and it’s much appreciated after the small preview of winter we experienced yesterday. Alas, I’m working today - although I get to do so from home, with the windows open & that tangy-crisp fall air wafting inside to clear things out.

I’ll try to escape for a walk through the neighborhood at the very least. I might try dragging my laptop to the front porch if the wireless connection will hold. But if I could, I’d take a larger chunk of time, play hooky & enjoy the sunshine.

If you could play hooky today, what would you do?

Hammock. Even if it is filled with leaves.

I spent a whole four dollars on fresh annual plants for one of the pots outside and dug in the dirt for a while in the afternoon sunshine. Best ‘coffee break’ ever.
