QOD – Happy Halloween – are ya dressing up?
Halloween on a Tuesday. A school night no less. I bet most of the big kids got the parties out of the way over the weekend, but we still have today.
Are you dressing up for work? For the day but not at work? If so, how does your work support the pagan in you? Do you have trick or treating for the executive staff? Maybe a bob for apples for the CFO? Talk to me. I know for sure there will be some individuals at my work dressed up. I may even bring in a mask to get into the spirit.
I brought in leftover goodies from the weekend, wore my big spider necklace and a few tucked in my hair…but the full witch won’t come out until I’m greeting trick-or-treaters at the door. My work wouldn’t care if I did – but no one else does, so it’s not nearly as fun.
I’m not dressing up, but my dog is. And I brought her with me to work. Quite the office star today.
I am at work as the Wicked Queen from Snow White. Down the row of cubes I’m in are Wednesday Adams, a gladiator, Borat, and a Ninja Robot Monkey Pirate.
Also spotted in my office: The cast of MASH, a Lollipop Kid, the Wicked Witch of the West, a scarecrow, a flying monkey, and one of The Monarch’s henchmen (from the Venture Brothers).
But then I haven’t seen everybody yet, either.
And we’re having a big party this afternoon too, with judging of each department’s decoration abilities and a costume contest.
So my office really likes Halloween. A lot.
