Everyone knows only bad stuff happens in North Portland. A shooting could have occurred at NE 182nd/Fremont, but everyone - The O, KGW, KATU etc. - would initially report it as a Shooting in North Portland.

This morning, the Mercury joined that group. Matt Davis (sorry to call you out like this) reported Pot being seized in North Portland even though the reported address is St. Helen’s rd. St. Helen’s road is HWY 30 on NW Portland. If this was indeed a police report, I can understand the confusion. The North Portland Precinct actually crosses the river and patrols parts of NW Portland.

Yet, I have a plea. Before posting, please verify where the actual event took place. Good things happen in North Portland also.
