Missing Mother and Children Found Alive

As posted by Alex last week, James Kim and his family disappeared in Oregon after a stopover in Portland on November 25th. The Kim family had pretty literally dropped off the face of the earth, causing great concern among their friends, family, and coworkers.

The good news is that Kati Kim and her daughters Penelope and Sabine were found after a helicopter crew spotted them near the Rogue River. The bad news is that James Kim apparently left his family on foot two days ago to try and reach help.

This story continues to develop, and here’s hoping there is a happy ending.

wow, that is (mostly) great news. hopefully they’ll find James soon.
though too bad nobody used the spellcheck and/or proofreader on the kgw site:
“the Oregon National Guard said a helicopter equipped with an infrared camera will be sued in the search.”

really, they’re going to sue the helicopter?

Would have to be a proofreader. Spellchecker wouldn’t have done any good.

Plus, if they literally dropped off the face of the Earth, they’d be floating in space.

    Just sayin’.

Glad they are well; let’s hope for the best.
