Yes - that’s right El Vez - the Mexican Elvis - is back and celebrating his My Mexican Merry Mex-Mas at the Doug Fir on Saturday night. If you’ve never seen El Vez you are absolutely in for a treat. Who else is going to tell Virginia that Yes - there is a Poncho Claus?

And maybe it’s ’cause I’m getting old (am not! Are too! Am not!) but I love going to shows at the Doug Fir where you know that when they say it starts at 9pm it really is -not 10:30 or 11 like so many other places in town.

Add in some lovely cocktails and the yummy croque monsieur (the fanciest hot ham and cheese ever) and we have ourselves a Saturday Night!
