Saddam Hussein Dead!

Was it worth it? Tonight, at 7pm, according to major news networks, Saddam Hussein was executed in Iraq. It’s interesting. I only know because I’m online and clicked on CNN. Yeah, we had watched the local news that stated the execution was eminent, yet @ 7pm, on came Extra with the latest in celebrity gossip. I’m surprised that back in November, there was a kerfuffle because Jonash commented that his favorite shows were interrupted by local political hacks giving concession speeches. Yet tonight, after 3000 US soldiers are dead and 10,000+ injured, along with over 100,000 Iraqi’s dead, not a peep. No break-in, no rolling newsbar, nothing. Kinda makes you wonder about our country’s ambitions. Makes one wonder about the media. Was it worth it?

Perhaps you should ask the relatives of the upwards of 1,000,000 that were murdered by Saddam – or ask the survivors that had to endure his crimes against humanity.

It wasn’t worth it to you – but ask the right people.

By that logic you are saying it is justified to kill more people to stop people from being killed? And then to kill the killers? Vicious circle I guess.
