Was it worth it? Tonight, at 7pm, according to major news networks ^[1], Saddam Hussein was executed in Iraq. It’s interesting. I only know because I’m online and clicked on CNN. Yeah, we had watched the local news that stated the execution was eminent, yet @ 7pm, on came Extra with the latest in celebrity gossip. I’m surprised that back in November, there was a kerfuffle ^[2] because Jonash commented that his favorite shows were interrupted by local political hacks giving concession speeches. Yet tonight, after 3000 US soldiers are dead and 10,000+ injured, along with over 100,000 Iraqi’s dead, not a peep. No break-in, no rolling newsbar, nothing. Kinda makes you wonder about our country’s ambitions. Makes one wonder about the media. Was it worth it?
