OK, here’s a fun contest for almost all of our commenters. Those who were at tonight’s Metroblog meetup, or any of my fellow Metroblog authors are excluded, because my not-so-secret purpose in this is to get more of y’all to our meetups.

I’ll buy a drink at the next meetup for the first person (other than those excluded above) who correctly identifies which non-author said the following line at tonight’s meetup:

I make my own croutons

I’ll start dropping hints tomorrow afternoon if noobody has figured it out… but astute readers could make some educated guesses.

update/clue: Wow… I at least expected some guesses. Here’s a clue: the person has been to meetups before, and their picture has been posted here (taken at a meetup). A bit of detective work should result in a winner…
