OHSU In Deal For South Waterfront, Ritzy Assisted Living Center

We know the South Waterfront is not cheap. Condos are pricey. Well, what goes with pricy condos? Apparently, a pricy retirement center with apartment and penthouses of up to 2,000 square feet.

Pacific Retirement Services
has bought a one-block parcel from OHSU to build a 30-story assisted living center they are calling “Mirabella.”

As part of the deal, the retirement center will collaborate with OHSU “on new health innovations to serve the needs of seniors.” Sounds like sweet health care for the residents of this plush tower.

Here’s something that caught my eye. The Mirabella includes views of the Willamette, Mount Hood or a new two-block park going in front of the Mirabella

A park? Is this a new park or one that has already been part of the plans for the South Waterfront?

The park at South Waterfront is a part of the current plans for the area. Here’s a map that shows the green areas.
