Color me mildly amused that the previous commenter on this topic left a URL indicating his name on MySpace is “stonecoldkiller”

I went to school there last year. I love everyone in the school an I hate the thought that one of them could have been hurt. I heard on the news today that The boy who shot the gun was Chad a freshman at the school. Does anyone know yet WHY he shot the school….I really want to know.

I went there also. It’s kinda scary that someone would do that to STHS. I mean, I know the school had it’s problems, but the teachers there were the best I’ve even had, elementary through college.
Any reason for the freshman to do it?

he did it becuse he was having troble at home
his stepdad hated him and was an a** to him and his mom wouldnt let him move in with his dad
chads dad told him that if his mom would let him leave the school then he could come and live with him
but his mom told him that the only way he could leave that school is if he got kicked out
he went around the school on monday asking kids how much troble would he get in if he would ever do that
they told him that he would just get suspended so on tuesday he came to school early and hid the gun in the bushes next to the school
he told violet H. that he put it there and yeat she still didnt tell anyone
during lunch he waited for everyone to go inside then he went over to the bushes and got the gun
some people are saying that he was tying to hit mr.lurie and loomis
    but missed
but apparently he told students that he was just trying to scare people so he could get kicked out and go live with his dad
after he shot twice he ran home
mr.bentz says that he felt so bad about it that when he got home he told his mom what he did and asked her to call the police
even tho he did a really really horrible thing I still do not think he should be tried as an adult hes just a sad kid with a bad life
he proble needs to go to juvie and spend a few years there or maybe even a mental instatute and get the help that he despriatly needs

I am also one who is currently attending STHS for the second year. I never thought this would ever happen in such a small school. Chad was actually kinda one of my freshman friends there and he is so nice. im still shocked that one of my friends, Chad nonetheless, would do this. im still scared even 2 days later. im going to be scared for a long time and im still going to cry every time i go into those rooms and still be upset about the whole thing.

yeah i think that it’s sad that he did it… but i still want him to get every year possible. i go to the school and im even here right now. Even Though I never knew him or talked to him i dont think that he should get off with mental issuses. Im a senior at SpringWater Trial and i have Grown close not only to the other students and staff but also to the school it self, and he shoot at the school that i love.

i think we all just need to focuss on the present and not dwell in the past.
chad was going through some tough times and we all need to count our blessings and be thankfull we all made it.

Do they not teach proper use of capitalization in schools anymore?
