The 5th annual Filmed by Bike festival is going down this Friday through Sunday over at the wonderful Clinton Street Theater. They’ll be showing a juried selection of 19 bike-related short films as a fundraiser for the Multnomah County Bike Fair. The featured films come from all across North America, though many were made right here in Portland.

This will be the first year that I’ve been able to make it to Filmed by Bike, but I’ve heard nothing but awesome about it from everyone I’ve talked to. Friday brings the Opening Night Throwdown where one can expect “Beer, mayhem, and a decidedly very adult atmosphere.” The other screening are described as being “more civil.”

Friday, April 13 - OPENING NIGHT THROWDOWN - 7:00 and 9:00 pm, 21+
Saturday, April 14, 5:00 (all ages), 7:00 pm (21+)
Sunday, April 15, 7:00 pm (21+)
