Don’t Hold That Phone; Don’t Push Those Buttons
Last week I posted about a new law in Washington which makes it illegal to use a cell phone in a vehicle without a hands-free device. This week, my fine legislators are at it again with more cell phone legislation, this time making it illegal to be text messaging while driving.
It’s a secondary offense, meaning that you can’t get a text messaging ticket unless the officer pulls you over for something else. I wonder how many folks are dumb enough to keep texting as the blue lights flash…
