Bike polo through the streets

Ugh. This bouncing ball of weather has me in a funk. I was ok with the cold and rain in February, but come on. Well, on Saturday, another rainy day, I did get out of the house for a bit and came upon a group of people playing Bike Polo through SE PDX. They had cool homemade or modified bikes and a ball that looked as it it were made totally of duct tape. Oh, and they embraced the cold and rain. I guess you have to at some point. So, I vowed not to stay inside all day Sunday even though the Band of Brothers marathon was on the History channel and the Yankees and BoSox were playing in the evening.

My lesson learned: It is going to rain in Portland until June, so buck up and deal with it. I am happier now.
