IMKI! Where can I get decent brownies for a dessert this evening?

I normally make my own brownies - and they’re New York Times-approved killer decadent brownies to boot.

But I promised I’d bring some killer decadent brownies to this dessert-y thing I’m going to tonight - and I have absolutely ]notime[ to bake between now and then.

So where can I go to get some killer decadent brownies? Or even fairly decent brownies?

I won’t even try to pass them off as my own - there’s bad karma that’ll get invoked if I try, I know.

* Oh, and that whole IMKI bit? I Must Know Immediately.

Palio in Ladd’s Circle has great ones–I don’t think they make them in house, though, so they can probably be found elsewhere, too. They have a ganache icing, and chunks of chocolate in them. Each one could easily serve two people. YUM.

    Daily Cafe’s are good, too.

I know this sounds crazy, but the brownie bites at Fred Meyers are really, really good, and they’re tiny so people don’t feel bad popping a couple of them. I’ve used them for functions all the time and they disappear in two seconds. And they’re inexpensive. They are in the bakery section.

Double fudge or cream cheese brownies at Paradise Bakery - oh yeah!
