MAX delays- 4:30pm

According to the announcer, a MAX train is stuck on the Steel bridge. Trains Eastbound are sitting stacked up at each stop. Advise you to take a bus instead.

silly trimet… by the time i went to head home last night (hours after this post), there was only a slight delay with the train itself but it was obvious that it had been backed up for some time ’cause the damn car was PACKED. and yet i checked the TriMet Alert thingamabob online and there was never any notation about MAX delays. anyway, thanks for the heads up.

Ah, the drawback of light rail: any little glitch with one train or one location will screw up the whole system.

Then of course that same problem occurred on Hwy 26. A little land slide and everything was done. Everyone ended up on Burnside, it took about 2 hrs to get from SE to NW. Probably a bunch on Barber too but I don’t head that way too much. I thought it was hilarious personally, because I don’t use the 26 tunnel. I tend to just not visit the west side. I’ll take the SW/SE or NE any day (Or NW this side of 28th).

Either way, you kill a primary artery and all goes to hell real fast. 26 was closed for 3 days. The car stink was annoyingly “stinky”. It’s amazing how much waste sitting cars make.
