Your Driving Theories Confirmed

Here’s the thing: I see stupid car stuff happen all the time. Changing lanes with no blinker at all, going way too fast, a right turn from the left lane, you name the driver dumbassery and I’ve seen it. I started to wonder if drivers in Portland really are this crazy.

Oh yes, they are.

WTF, Portland? Is the extra sun making people crazy? Is it just more reporting of these things? Is it even worse than I thought? Are you seeing this too or is it just me? I’d ditch my car altogether except Tri-Met might kick me off the bus for kissing

I though standard protocol for two girls kissing involved way more high fives.

It does, Jay. Just not by the girls. (:

Motorists are rushed on account of all the downtown construction and bridge work- causing delays in, out of and through downtown. Hence they take more chances to cut time.

Also kids are out of school, boosting numbers of errands. Take chances to cut driving time back to your kids at home, or taking kids on errands.

With respect to the TriMet driver, I’ve developed my own theory: I think the driver was jealous ‘cos he wasn’t getting some for himself.

I created that theory because the one closest to reality (he’s a bigoted a-hole) was less sarcasting and more depressing.
