Some neighbor would just bring out the Police scanner and monitor. The highlight was the M80 launching a stock pot 20 feet in the air. Good times! It was my favorite day of the year. Everyone would make something awesome and without fail my mom would make homemade icecream, a huge bucket it of it... good times...
