Sundae Sunday?

This Sunday is the 27th annual Sellwood Sundae in the Park. If you’ve never heard of it or you’ve never been this might be the time to check it out. I’ve gone every year since I moved back to Southeast and my summer wouldn’t be complete without it. Festivities kick off at noon and continue until 5pm in Sellwood Park (on SE 7th).

A lot of fun gets packed into that 5 hour window and there will be no shortage of live music and other entertainers. Cheap eats are abundant as well or you can pack your own picnic and find a spot under a shady tree or right in front of the bandstand. When you’re all finished with your savory festival food stop by the ice cream station for 50 cent sundaes.

Don’t forget to keep your eye out for the fabulous face painter and the historic photo area as well!

Maybe I’ll see you there?
