Is it Happy Hour yet…?
I figured it was time I stopped by to see my friends over at Unthirsty - the site that offers up searchable listings and maps of Happy Hours around town. The same friends who’ve been incredibly helpful as we looked around for locations to have our MB monthly reader gatherings.
Jason has flipped me email recommendations, and keeps in touch on a regular basis (he’s even stopped by at least one of our parties) - so when he tipped me off to this blogpost of his, I had to give it a read: 10 tips to get the most from Happy Hour

What’s new since I was here last? Well, the Unthirsty site itself can now help you fulfill your happy hour needs, even as you trip across our fair country. Look, there’s Dallas and Atlanta and SF! My old stomping grounds in Brooklyn, NY! And they’re even branching into the ‘burbs: check out Beaverton, will you?
In closing? Remember Jason’s Tip #8: Be prepared with cash. Especially if you’re showing up tonight. While we love you and can’t wait to see you - well, we’re not flush enough to ply you with drinks; and I’m not nice enough to cover any overages…!
