Meet A Metblogger: Foreign Exchange Edition!
We usually have a monthly get together where we hang out with our readers and we buy some food for the folks that show up.
Tonight we’re having a special meetup, since we have a DC Metblogger in the area currently. Meet Wayan, a writer for the DC Metroblog who is here for the week. He is leaving Geekcorps to join another crusade to change the world. If you’ve never heard of Geekcorps and want to learn more, or you just want to try out the place we’ll be congregating this evening, come by. We’ll be happy to have you!

Actually, I’ve joined a crusade quite dear to PDX. I now work for Mercy Corps and would love the chance to meet more Portlanders.
D’oh! Pls give more heads up (or is this a reg thing) next month. would have loved to come by so I can properly represent the lurker crowd.
BTW, have the day off and wifey and I are presently on pinot noir bottle #3. ahhh….
