Snow soon? Remember last season…

With snow potentially in the forecast by the end of the week, remember to drive safely as you move around town. Perhaps not driving at all if snow is on the ground might be a better idea. Otherwise…

I think a lot of people got some practice with this last night.

I was trying to get home late last night, and was surprised to discover the sidewalk was covered in ice. I decided to call a cab instead of walking the 2.5 miles and ending up in a ditch with a concussion. The cab driver said he had seen plenty of crazy driving, the cab itself was sliding around some, and I even saw a wreck on the way home.

Just remember this is the city that “runs away and calls a snow day” when there is just 1/16 of an inch of snow on the ground and MAX shuts down.

I’d agree with the “stay at home” sentiment - if the mild weather scares you PLEASE stay off the roads. Buses usually run (albeit a little later than usual) so you can still get around if you have to. But why not take the time for some home & hearth, hmm?

Na I’ll still go out in the “bad” weather but I play it smart chains and go slow and watch the tv with the ones playing pin ball with there cars/trucks/suvs on hills “I’m sliding down hill I think I’ll hit the breaks hard and try to stop” NOT. ;->
